About

Sheri Ruiz is an artist and designer hailing from Harrison, New York. Her creative journey continued at SUNY Purchase, where she cultivated her passion for printmaking and honed her skills in the world of black and white photography.

For a significant portion of her career, Sheri worked as a buyer and merchandiser, utilizing her design acumen to craft compelling visual narratives, particularly within the realms of private golf clubs. However, when the pandemic emerged, like many, she found herself at home and seized the opportunity to shape her artistic vision, ultimately forming Sheri Ruiz Design.

In the midst of 2020, Sheri along with her husband Eddie and their trusty elder Mini Schnauzer, Dash, embarked on a significant move by relocating to the charming city of Annapolis. Their son, Christopher, joined them initially but has since ventured to Nevada to pursue a career in sports manangement.

Annapolis, as it turns out, has proven to be more than just a change of scenery. Eddie has assumed the role of General Manager/ Director of Golf at The Preserve at Eisenhower, while Sheri has dedicated herself wholeheartedly to the growth of her creative business.

Since 2021, She has been on a steady ascent, launching an online platform to showcase and sell her prints and designs. She is thrilled to share her artistic endeavors, in person as well, particularly at Local by Design at the Gallery, located in the Design District of Annapolis. Sheri's current focus involves an ongoing photographic essay capturing the essence of her new home in Annapolis and the surrounding landscapes on her travels.
